Hani what's annoying is the setting at IE level itself, I am just switching printers, before sending anything yet to print.

The main cause is the language of the printer itself, PCL printers such as HP, PostScript such as Epson, Interpress such as Xerox and finally the latest PDL which is the most latest and including most of the former mentioned languages, simply talk, you have to include a format for each printer in your application. I didn't mention the Barcode printers because a little bit different on how it is receiving data and also printing languages.
